Dear Alisa and Gina,
I recently had some plumbing work done in my bathroom. The plumber accidentally dropped a heavy wrench and cracked a huge piece off the bathroom sink. I had been meaning to replace the sink anyway because it had some cosmetic damage, but not just yet because I have other financial priorities. But now, the sink has to be replaced right away– and the plumbing company is having their insurance pay for it.
Call me crazy but I feel guilty because I’m actually kind of happy it happened. Now I’m getting a brand new sink for free. Should I offer to pay for a portion of the cost – or just consider myself lucky. ~ Wondering

Lucky Break
I say that you gracefully accept the fact that what you wanted has become a gift. ~ Alisa
Wow - you are one lucky duck. Hey, it's not your fault it happened - I mean just because you were standing outside the bathroom the whole time wishing with all your heart that the plumber would drop a wrench on that sink so that you could get a new one did not actually make it so. Or did it? Well, whatever it was - this time you get a pass. Enjoy your new sink. ~ Gina
